Supported formats

To be upfront: this doesn't convert between 3D file formats — it takes a file already in an AR-ready format and turns it into a shareable AR link, QR code, and embeddable widget.

.GLB
Works on Android + iOS
.GLTF
Works on Android + iOS
.USDZ
Native Apple format
⚠️ Have an OBJ, FBX, or another format instead? You'll need to export or convert it to GLB first — Blender does this for free. Once it's a GLB, come back and upload it here.

FAQ

What file formats does the 3D to AR converter support?
GLB, GLTF and USDZ — the three formats Apple Quick Look and Google Scene Viewer actually use for AR. These aren't converted between each other; each is already AR-ready on its own.
My file is OBJ or FBX — can I still use this?
Not directly. ARView doesn't convert between 3D file formats — it turns an already AR-ready file (GLB, GLTF or USDZ) into a shareable AR link. If your model is in OBJ, FBX, or another format, you'll need to export or convert it to GLB first using a tool like Blender (free) before uploading here.
Is this actually free?
Yes. Uploading a model and generating an AR link, QR code, and embed code is free to start, with a paid plan for unlimited uploads and permanent storage.
Do people viewing the AR need an app?
No. The AR link opens directly in the phone's browser using Apple Quick Look on iPhone or Google Scene Viewer on Android, both already built into the device.
