Questions shop owners ask
Do my customers need to install an app?
No. The AR view opens in the phone browser. On iPhone it uses Apple AR Quick Look and on Android it uses Google Scene Viewer, so there is nothing to download.
Which shop platforms does it work with?
Anything where you can paste an embed code or add a link: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or a custom site. ARView is not a plugin for one platform, so there is nothing to install on your shop.
What file do I need for each product?
A 3D model in GLB, GLTF or USDZ format, up to 50 MB. Your supplier, a 3D artist or a photogrammetry scan can provide one.
Do store models expire?
No. On the normal free account, models expire after 24 hours. Models you add as store products stay live, so your product pages keep working.
What does it cost?
Early access is free for up to 10 products while we build the paid plans. The plans below show where pricing is heading, and they are not billed yet. If you need more than 10 products now, contact us.
I have hundreds of products. Can I add them in bulk?
Not from the dashboard yet. The ARView API accepts model uploads, so a developer can add a whole catalogue with a script. If you would like help, get in touch.
Can I see how many people opened AR?
Yes. Each product shows how many times its AR view was opened.
